Girls und Panzer in 1/35th: Platz Team Angler Fish set & Dragon Panzer IV F2

This project had a pretty quick turnaround. Seven weeks from start to finish. A true lockdown project. Before March 2020 I barely had time to watch Netflix but once I was forced to work from home part-time I had loads of time on my hands. I was vaguely aware of Girls und Panzer from seeing social media posts from model makers in Japan. I found the series on Netflix and settled in to see what it was all about.

Girls und Panzer is a contemporary Japanese anime extending to one TV series and a couple of movies. The plot is utterly insane: highschool girls engaging in non-lethal competition with other schools using battle tanks. Nothing really makes any sense in the real world. It is utter fantasy so go with the flow.

I enjoyed it so much I thought I would give it a bash to see if I could make a model of the victorious team Angler Fish after the battle again Pravda school. I used Platz figures with a Dragon Panxer IV. Enjoy!
