2. The model was built when
I was a
teenager. This makes it the oldest displayed item in the collection. |

are many newer kits in the attic but this is the only one from that era that
remains photogenic.

4. The photo's don't show too much detail.
The aircraft is presented on a base made for it in 2004.

A close visual inspection will show the kit has not been painted to the
standard of more recent efforts.

6. The model does not have engraved panel

7. I did, however, scratchbuild this
instrument panel and many cockpit details. |
8. The weapons are all from a Hasegawa
Weapons set suitable for the Vietnam War era. |

The base is real wood that has been
stained and covered with a colour photocopy of a Verlinden hard standing
material. |

10. The Name Plate shown earlier was made by
a local craftsman and shows known details about the aircraft
represented. |
